Senior Security Engineer– New York
I'm working with a fast-scaling AI unicorn in NYC that's embedding AI deeply into enterprise workflows - and they need a Senior Security Engineer to help own and build out the security function.

This is a hands-on security engineering role at a firm moving at serious pace - build the function, set the standard, own the impact.
What you'll be working on:
- Owning and evolving the firm's security posture - AppSec, CloudSec, and beyond
- Automating security processes end-to-end - vulnerability management, asset management, patch management
- Embedding security-first principles across the product and engineering org
- Leading cloud security across all infrastructure
- Partnering with engineering and leadership to align security with business goals
What they're looking for:
- Proven hands-on security engineering experience at a high-growth startup, FAANG, trading firm, or frontier AI lab
- Strong cloud security expertise - you've owned it at scale
- Solid engineering fundamentals - Python, Go, or similar
- Track record automating security processes and integrating cloud-native tooling
- A builder - someone who writes the playbook rather than following one
