We are actively hiring an experienced Project Manager to support the New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) in leading large-scale enterprise application development initiatives.

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔ Lead medium to large-scale IT application development projects from initiation through implementation.
✔ Define project scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and deliverables.
✔ Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
✔ Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
✔ Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
✔ Prepare project documentation, executive status reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
✔ Manage SDLC processes using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and RUP methodologies.
✔ Utilize Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Project Server, Primavera, and Microsoft Visio.
✔ Support enterprise application development for transportation and infrastructure initiatives.

✅ Required Qualifications
✔ 10+ years of Project Management experience leading medium to large-scale IT projects.
✔ Proven experience managing multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams of 15+ members.
✔ Strong background in enterprise software/application development projects.
✔ Extensive knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and RUP).
✔ Hands-on experience with MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Project Server, Primavera, and Visio.
✔ Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management skills.

✅ Preferred Qualifications
✔ PMP Certification.
✔ Master's degree in Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
✔ Experience with GIS technologies and map integration.
✔ Knowledge of Asset Management Systems.
✔ Experience with Wireless/Mobile application development.
✔ Understanding of at least one programming language or application development platform.
✔ Prior experience supporting Federal, State, or Local Government projects.
✔ Experience delivering large-scale enterprise information systems.
