Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid – 50% Telecommute Bi-Weekly)
Duration: 24 Months

The Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) is seeking an experienced Systems Developer (Expert) to support the Domestic Violence Information System (DVIS). This consultant will lead application development, reporting, testing, implementation, and production support while serving as the primary technical point of contact for a critical New York State initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead DVIS development, testing, and deployment.
Build and maintain applications using ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and C#.
Develop REST APIs, WCF services, and system integrations.
Gather requirements and create technical solutions.
Work on Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and complex SQL queries.
Develop reports using SSRS.
Support testing, production issues, and documentation.

Required Experience :
7+ years developing multi-tier ASP.NET MVC (.NET 4.0+) enterprise applications.
7+ years developing SOA applications using WCF, SOAP, and RESTful APIs.
6+ years developing .NET Core web applications using C#.
7+ years building responsive web applications using HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS.
7+ years designing Oracle databases, PL/SQL programming, XML stored procedures, packages, and complex SQL development.
6+ years developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
