Torch Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and analysis of all-digital tactical missile systems on Redstone Arsenal.
Job Duties
- Integrate vendor-supplied models and simulations into a common simulation framework and scene generation environment.
- Develop new models based on physics and math principles.
- Perform detailed analysis of models and integrated system performance.
Job Requirements
- US Citizenship.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, system design and integration, and/or data analysis.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience with MATLAB, C++, Python, Fortran, or other programming languages.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as an individual.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience presenting technical findings and analysis results.
- Basic understanding of missile kinematics.
- Experience with IR and/or RF sensor phenomenology and target signatures.
- Experience developing or integrating all-digital simulations and models.
- Experience devising and executing Monte Carlo, statistical, and sensitivity studies.
