Client Overview:
Vernovis is partnering with a leading consumer products company seeking a Director of IT Operations to oversee infrastructure, service delivery, and IT security functions. This individual will lead a high-performing team and drive operational excellence, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable technology to support business growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead IT operational planning and oversee technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage IT service delivery, implementing ITIL-based service management practices for high-quality support.
- Direct network and system administration, ensuring performance, reliability, and cybersecurity compliance.
- Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
- Oversee IT budgeting, procurement, and vendor management to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals focused on infrastructure, systems, and service delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and service quality.
What Experience You’ll Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of IT operations experience with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM frameworks, network architecture, and infrastructure management.
- Experience managing enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and business continuity/disaster recovery.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM, or PMP.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and modern security frameworks.
