📌 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆
Hiring a Level 3 Production Support / DevOps Engineer to support production trading and market-data applications within a banking and fixed-income trading environment.
🔑 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
Support production trading and market-data applications during NY business hours.
Work with traders and developers on deployments and production issues.
Perform pre-release and post-deployment validation.
Integrate deployments through Rundeck or Azure DevOps.
Develop and maintain application start/stop scripts and automation.
Troubleshoot Linux, Java logs, databases, infrastructure, and application issues.
Handle production incidents, problem tickets, RCA, and corrective actions.
Create and maintain operational procedures and runbooks.
Support server provisioning and environment setup.
Configure service accounts, authentication, and authorization workflows.
Support monitoring and alerting integrations.
Participate in annual DR/BCP testing.
Recommend and implement infrastructure and operational improvements.

Linux / Red Hat 8 (RH8)
Azure / Azure DevOps
Python scripting
Java application/log troubleshooting
Tidal, Autosys, Control-M or similar schedulers
SQL and relational databases
Production deployment & application support
Rundeck / Ansible
Splunk, Grafana, OpsRamp
Incident management & troubleshooting
Shell scripting
SDLC & Agile environments
Trading floor / Fixed Income experience preferred
🎓 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
Around 5 years of relevant DevOps / Production Support experience.
Strong Linux command-line and shell-scripting knowledge.
Working knowledge of SQL, tables, views, indexes, and query troubleshooting.
Experience with enterprise job schedulers.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to troubleshoot complex L3 production issues through resolution.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
