We are looking for an experienced Sr. Data Engineer Architect with strong expertise in cloud data architecture, modern data platforms, and client-facing leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Work closely with client enterprise architects and act as a technical mentor to offshore data analytics teams
✅ Design end-to-end data architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, and Looker
✅ Build modern data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse solutions leveraging best practices
✅ Architect scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow (Apache Beam), Dataproc (Spark), and Cloud Composer
✅ Lead modernization initiatives and migrations from legacy platforms to cloud
Required Skills:
✔ Strong hands-on experience with GCP (preferred), plus exposure to Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Databricks
✔ Expertise in BigQuery optimization (partitioning, clustering, materialized views, BI Engine)
✔ Experience in data governance, metadata management, observability, and lineage
✔ Strong CI/CD knowledge using GitHub/GitLab pipelines and Terraform
✔ Knowledge of security, IAM, VPC Service Controls, and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI)
