🚀 We’re Hiring: Cloud Site Reliability Engineer – Contract (Hybrid) 🚀
Join us to drive a high-priority infrastructure transition tied to a major data center exit and disaster recovery (DR) migration. This role is hands-on, focused on planning, migrating, validating, and operationalizing DR and backup environments while ensuring resiliency and continuity of US-hosted business applications.
📍 Location Options: Charlotte, NC | New York, NY | Boston, MA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, within 50 miles)

✅ Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute migration of disaster recovery and backup environments.
Support relocation or re-platforming of DR environments for applications, databases, and market data services.
Conduct and document full DR tests, validate restore procedures, and ensure operational readiness.
Partner with Cloud Operations SMEs to operationalize cloud-based backup solutions.
Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and vendors throughout migration and testing.
Maintain thorough documentation of environments, procedures, and test outcomes.
✅ Required Skills & Experience:
Background in Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Operations, or Infrastructure Reliability.
Hands-on experience with enterprise DR environments and backup systems.
Strong understanding of resiliency patterns, recovery testing, and infrastructure transitions.
Experience with colocation exits or data center migrations.
Familiarity with cloud-based backup/recovery platforms.
Exposure to financial services or regulated industries.
Strong documentation habits and operational discipline.
