Are you a results-driven sales professional with experience in the flexible packaging industry? We're looking for a Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to drive new business, expand market share, and build long-term relationships with packaging converters, manufacturers, and industrial customers. This is a high-impact, remote opportunity with excellent earning potential and a path toward future sales leadership.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
✔️ Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the flexible packaging market
✔️ Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referrals
✔️ Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing
✔️ Sell converter-grade film solutions to packaging converters and manufacturers
✔️ Present customized packaging solutions based on customer requirements
✔️ Develop and grow strategic customer relationships
✔️ Identify opportunities for account expansion and long-term revenue growth
✔️ Monitor industry trends, pricing, and competitive activity
✔️ Collaborate with leadership on commercial growth initiatives
✔️ Travel 30–40% for customer visits, prospect meetings, and industry events
🔹 Required Skills & Experience
✅ 4+ years of flexible packaging sales or business development experience
✅ Experience selling to packaging converters and manufacturers
✅ Strong knowledge of flexible packaging films and substrates
✅ Proven track record of new business development and revenue growth
✅ Excellent prospecting, pipeline management, and closing skills
✅ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
✅ Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
✅ Willingness to travel approximately 30–40%
✅ Candidates located in New York, Ohio, or surrounding states are preferred
