We are looking for an experienced Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer to support critical HL7 FHIR interoperability applications and cloud services for a major NY State project.

✅ Required Skills & Experience:
• 12+ years of IT experience
• 5+ years managing AWS Cloud Services
• Strong expertise with AWS, AWS CLI, AWS EKS, Lambda, Route 53
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kafka, Zookeeper, Kubernetes, Jenkins
• Experience with Python/Java, Shell Scripting, RESTful APIs
• Cloud monitoring tools like Grafana & Prometheus
• Deployment automation & cloud security best practices
• AWS Infrastructure setup and maintenance

⭐ Preferred:
• AWS Cloud Certifications
• Experience supporting enterprise interoperability/data platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

📌 Responsibilities:
• Manage AWS Labs environment for OPHE Data Platform
• Configure and monitor Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, and cloud applications
• Support deployment automation and platform security
• Monitor utilization, costs, and budgets
• Maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure
